JCOP is an IBM implementation of the java card 2.2.1 and Global Platform 2.1.1 basic specifications including refinements from VISA International set in the Visa Open Platform Smart Card Implementation where so required by the JAVA card 2.2.1 and Global Platform 2.1.1 specifications. 
JCOP 41 is the pulic-key member of this family,it adds public key(RSA)Capabilities.
Its successor,JCOP30.v2.0 IS compliant with the Visa Open Platform Card Implementation Requirements Configuration 2with PK,Version 2.0 from February 2002.
